Description

Boston University invites the BU and greater Boston Community for the inaugural BU Global Music Festival on October 5 & 6, 2018. Enjoy extraordinary music, educational events, and a global bazaar – all free and open to the public of all ages with registration.

**Each venue has a legal capacity. Seating at each venue will be first come, first served. Registration does not guarantee a seat at any one performance.**

Doors for each performance will open 30-45 minutes in advance.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

- Full Festival: includes all programming on both Friday & Saturday
- Friday only: includes programming from 7pm-midnight on Friday
- Saturday only: includes programming from noon-midnight on Saturday

Standing Room Policy

If you have not registered for the festival and no tickets are left above, registration is at capacity and closed. You are welcome to come to BU and go to our check in tables:

  • Tsai Performance Center (685 Commonwealth Ave.): Friday, October 5th from 5-8pm

  • George Sherman Union (775 Commonwealth Ave.): Friday, October 5th from 7-10pm & Saturday, October 6th from 11am-10pm

There you will be given a Standing Room Only ticket for your desired performance. To use that ticket you must arrive at the performance venue 30 minutes in advance and wait until all previously registered audience members with festival wrist bands have been accommodated. If there is room you will be allowed entrance at the beginning of the performance.

Easily accessible by MBTA Green B Line at BU Central and BU East. Limited walk-up registration will be available day-of. As many performances are not in English, captioning services will only be available during workshops, but not for performances.

Share your love for the BU Global Music Festival after the festival is over with our 2018 T-Shirts! Shirts will be for sale at our Swag tables starting on Friday at Tsai Performance Center for $20 per shirt, with cash or credit card. Shirts are available in Black and Navy in sizes Small to XX-Large.
